We developed an early breast cancer awareness campaign, adopting a unique patient storytelling approach. Through extensive research on medical education, they identified local celebrity Jamie Yeo and breast cancer survivor Ms Kwa who shared their personal breast cancer journeys in a video produced in collaboration with the Breast Cancer Foundation. The emotional and relatable video, disseminated across the Medical Channel Asia platforms of YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, reached 2 million viewers and drove over 1,700 clicks to the campaign video and screening resources on BCF’s website, effectively educating the public on early detection while Yeo’s public disclosure generated significant media coverage valued at over $63,000, creating an impactful public health campaign.

In attempts to raise the public’s knowledge on the device of choice for the treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, we worked with Boston Scientific to structure an ongoing disease awareness campaign, utilising multiple digital platforms owned by Medical Channel Asia to push information out to their target audience. Through a combination of public health webinars & seminars, social media posts, microsite creation with SEO and SEM as well as a large variety of disease awareness videos featuring patients, doctors, celebrity-led vox-pop and even animation videos, the diverse content achieved millions of impressions over the multi-year campaign.

Beyond spreading awareness, the campaign successfully improved health literacy and encouraged prostate health screening by generating traffic to the microsite. There, visitors could assess their BPH risk via an online checklist and take informed next steps for their health. With this data, we were able to reach out to this engaged target audience and inform them about upcoming public health events. With its multichannel, data-driven strategy crafted by Stratgeist, this ongoing campaign by Medical Channel Asia continues expanding reach quarter after quarter to benefit patients across territories including Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.

Johnson & Johnson partnered with Medical Channel Asia to develop a multi-channel smoking cessation awareness campaign. They created a series of short-form educational videos featuring experts in dentistry, pharmacy, cardiology and respiratory medicine. Each video visually explained how tobacco impacts a different body system.

Deployed across TikTok, the videos accumulatively reached over 3 million viewers within the first month. The campaign drove traffic to Nicorette’s dedicated “Stick to Quit” website where users could make a pledge to quit smoking. Both the engaging videos and resources were designed to inform at-risk youth audiences about smoking’s health effects and empower them to modify their behaviors. By leveraging Medical Channel Asia’s expertise in public health outreach along with TikTok’s popular platform among younger demographics, we supported optimized awareness of the campaign’s lifesaving messages through this digitally-centric strategy.
